Category Description for Hands-On Tally Marks Activity Cards

We used tally marks as a method to keep score or track of something on a piece of paper. You can now use these manipulatives to teach and practice math skills at the kindergarten through 2nd grade level. These sets include plastic manipulatives that look like Popsicle® sticks. Single sticks are green; groups of fives are yellow; and groups of ten are purple. These are required for use with the activity card sets. Use the tally mark counters to introduce counting, subitizing and to practice math skills. Activity card sets include 50 two-sided cards (2.5"x 3.5"), with the question or problem on the front and a visual answer (replication of the tally marks) on the reverse. ~ Donna
