Description

This picture book version of the classic tale by John Bunyan is well illustrated and fun to read. It contains enough high-quality text to do the story justice, and includes all the characters originally incorporated and the primary experiences Christian must go through. The modern-looking cartoon illustrations are great, but the text stays true to the original meaning and symbolism. Retold by Tim Dowley and illustrated by Steve Smallman, this book provides a great example of Christian values and the hardship faced along the Christian journey, and is a great introduction to the classic tale. 80 pgs, pb. ~Rachel
