I was curious what made this paper particularly good for self-portraits, alas, it clearly has a warm undertone that suits a variety of skin colors. It is not even a light almond, more of a true peachy tone. It is lighter than my own skin, which is rather brown, but I could see it working well under colored pencils or chalks, even crayons! ~Sara
