every home school parent needs to read this
Reading these has made the way I teach so much easier. They still do the text book think for spelling, Using their spelling words they are to write a story, and we still do math text book, but for reading and mentoring them to think on their own, it has been good to read the classics and watch the movie that goes with the book has been a great help in getting my kids to think on their own and share their thoughts on the book with out fear of being right or wrong

This book is a great resource for those wishing to implement a Thomas Jefferson Education in their homes It's chock full of practical application for this educational philosophy I borrowed it from a friend but returned it quickly knowing I would need to have my own copy so that I could refer to it again and again If you want to give your children a leadership education and aren't sure where to begin-this book is a good starting point
