Product Description:

Molecules come in a vast number of sizes and structures, and now you can model them for better understanding. This 42-piece Zometool set will allow you and/or the student to build and replicate molecules using the molecule cards, balls, and struts. This set contains 5 red balls (oxygen), 2 blue balls (nitrogen), 12 white balls (hydrogen), 5 black balls (carbon), 13 yellow struts (single bond), 3 blue struts (double bond), 2 red struts (triple bond), and 28 molecule cards to help you visualize the molecular world. Each molecule card has the information needed to build a specific molecule water, propylene, methane, hydrogen peroxide, etc. A picture shows what the molecule should look like, the atoms and bonds needed to build it, and a fact box gives a bit of information about that molecule. A pamphlet is included with the kit for further explanation of this kit and how it should be used. All of this is contained in a sturdy storage container with screw on lid. Use this kit with your science curriculum or just for a fun exercise in learning - this is a great tool to help your students understand the science world they cannot see. ~ Donna

I'm both delighted and dissapointed I love the idea of this product but it was rather expensive for the number of pieces it comes with The product photo indicates a full container--in reality it comes with much less than that The cards are handy but all information found on them is easily found elsewhere I feel jipped and yet I'm tempted to keep it
