My son, who is super mechanical and has to be occupied at all times or gets into trouble, as most boys do, absolutely loves anything that the magic school bus puts out. So I am hoping this kit will be a winner as well! Thanks magic school bus!

Are there any materials required for any of the activities that are *not* included in the set (including things that are considered "common household items")?
Maureen G on Jan 10, 2022
BEST ANSWER: We haven't done all of the experiments yet, but so far we have only needed to provide food for the mini solar oven (crackers and chocolate or nachos and cheese), a battery, and tape.
Would the Magic School Bus Kits be okay for a precocious 3 year old working with a parent?

BEST ANSWER: He/she would probably have fun just because it's in a bus box! But I don't know that they'd learn much or how long it would hold their attention.

Awesome, inclusive kit for hands on application
This kit offers some great hands on activities and all of the specialized equipment necessary is included. Not a stand alone curriculum though, since the concepts are illustrated, not necessarily explained.
