Product Description:

Newly designed with fresh illustrations, this set-matching card game now includes both classic and advanced rules, as well as rules for 2-3 players. Overall, the goal is simple: build up a $1,000,000 stack of matching asset cards worth a certain amount of money, including homes, classic cars, stamp collections, and more. But watch out - the more you accrue, the more likely it is a player will steal your hard-earned valuables! Everyone begins with 5 cards from which to build their enterprise. Each turn, players attempt to make a matching asset stack from their own hand or - here's where the fun begins - an opponent's stack! To play from one's own hand is simple; make a match with or without the aid of the discard pile. To seize an opponent's assets, you must reveal a matching asset card from your hand. But if your opponent reveals another matching card, they get a turn to laugh! This continues until one player cannot reveal a new card, in which case the other player seizes the asset cards used in the challenge. The game ends when at least one player reaches $1,000,000 in assets. For 2-6 players. 20 to 40-minute playtime.

Publisher Description:

Create stacks of assets by pairing sets of asset cards, like Piggy Banks, Cash Under the Mattress, Jewels, and Classic Autos. Each new set you acquire is stacked atop the previous set, literally COVERING your Assets!

Watch out though-- the top set on every player's pile is vulnerable, and can be stolen by another player if they reveal a matching asset, or a Wild Silver or Gold card!

You're not defenseless though; you can reveal your own matching assets or wild cards to protect your top set. The last player to reveal a card takes, or keeps the set, along with all the cards used in the challenge, increasing its value... and increasing other player's desire to take it!

A perfect party game for kids and adults alike, it'll have you all laughing and teasing one another all night!

It's a simple-to-learn game that is fun. Personalities of players<br /> factor in because they have to "steal" other player's assets. The play<br />is quick, so multiple games (and wins) are possible in an evening.

Im curious if anyone has tried playing this with two game sets, allowing 8 players to play? When six players use one set of cards it seems to really spread out the assets. Fun game!

BEST ANSWER: We’ve played with 6 and it’s not as much fun. If theirs more players we just played with two games with 4 players. I think it would be tricky to play with two games because you’d have double the cards to keep track of.

If you challenge and it goes 2 attempts with you winning - what cards does winner get, and does he only lay one asset pair down?

BEST ANSWER: When you challenge, the last person to play a card gets all of the challenge cards played + the cards that were being challenged. So if there was a stack of jewels that are challenged, the winning player adds all of the cards played on that turn to the original stack of jewels.

This is a fun game that all ages can enjoy, and it moves fast so that within an hour, someone will be a millionaire. it’s easy to learn. We recently had a “tournament” with 3 tables of 4. We had 1 “new” couple at each table for easy teaching. After the teaching round, the tournament began, proceeded with one person rotating each hand, and the game ended about an hour later. It was a delightful evening.

Fun for the whole family
I confess that I was hesitant to purchase this game b/c of the title, but it had so many positive reviews on Amazon that I decided to give it a try and purchase it here. It has been the hit of the holiday! My kids, ages 8, 13 & 15 have all requested to play it repeatedly and my husband & I enjoy it as well. The recommended age is 7+. It requires familiarity with the number values of 5, 10, 15 & 20 and that's pretty much all. The deck of cards has assets of different values pictured on the cards (car, jewels, baseball card collection, etc). The goal is to collect assets and have the most money in assets at the end. This is done by making pairs and collecting your own assets, by covering/guarding those assets, or by stealing assets from others. It's quick to learn. There is some strategy involved, but our 8 year old beat us all the first time, so it's also partly what cards you have. You can play one round or play until the first person reaches $1 million in assets. They recommend playing with 4-6 players. We've played with 5 and had a lot of fun!
