Product Description:

This kit is much like the Live Butterfly Garden (#003539) except it is more spacious. This butterfly habitat stands 18" tall and has a diameter of 15". It is also made out of a see-through mesh, it "pops up" to stand on its own, and it can be folded flat using the hook-and-loop fastener straps that are attached to the top of the habitat (these can also be used to hang the butterfly pavilion). This kit comes with a voucher for five Painted Lady caterpillars and food for them as well. Simply redeem your voucher online at InsectLore.com (additional shipping and handling fee is required when you redeem your voucher) and your caterpillars will be delivered to your front door. Detailed instructions, a pipette for butterfly feeding and Painted Lady butterfly Life Cycle Stages Figures are also included in the kit. Budding Entomologist STEM Activity Journal full of immersive activities. Please note that caterpillars can only be shipped during mild weather and within the continental US and Alaska. Caterpillars are not shipped to Canada or Hawaii.

BEST ANSWER: Actually you get a voucher with the kit and then you send that voucher into the company and they will send you the caterpillars in the mail which turn into pink lady butterflies.

Very nice
The Butterfly Garden was a huge success! We enjoyed seeing every phase of their lives. The booklet explained everything very well. Our fluttery friends are now flying in freedom around our neighborhood!

The best family project ever!!!!
We bought this beautiful garden during Covid19 pandemic. In a time like this to be able to watch the caterpillar's transformation was truly a blessing. We had nothing but time in our hands to rsally pay attention to every step of the transformation. Glad my 7 year old thought of this. It was a great experience for the whole family. We released our butterflies in a garden in Pasadena where the Tournament of Rose's takes place. Great home for them. Can't wait to order more caterpillars.

What an Adventure!!!
My grandson and I bonded so much over this shared experience. We can't wait to do it again!!!
It was such a marvel to watch the caterpillars transform from little tiny creatures into magnificent butterflies...and the release was utterly magical!
It was an experience we both will treasure for a lifetime!!!
