Category Description for Meet The Phonics Series Dvd's & Workbook

Animations show a letter or group of letters transformed into a winsome "character" who introduces the sounds it makes along with other words starting with those sounds. For instance, "a" is an astronaut who introduces his three sounds with examples (i.e. asteroids, aliens, auto). In the blends and digraphs videos, the "character" first tells his story then is matched with other letters to make words. Those words are first shown with the character letters, then as normal print letters.
