Because this is a study Bible, there are some great features to enhance the reading of God's Word. In keeping with the Action Bible format, readers will find colorful, superhero-type comics throughout the text, placed in four-page groupings and depicting some of the high points of the reading. There is a section in the front of the Bible that explains how to use the special features that are scattered throughout the text: Remember It, What About This, Unlock It, Guess It, Activate It, and Ancient Archives. Remember It' offers a verse for memorizing, What About This' is a tough thinking question to help the reader think about their faith. There are 50 of these in all (one for each week) and are questions that both children and adults might ask Why can't we see God? Will every good person go to heaven? Why did God create people? Unlock It' offers further explanation or information to help the reader better understand something they just read. Guess It' is a fun challenge section in which the reader is given five clues to guess a specific person, place, or thing 1. God spoke from here (Ex.20-22) 2. Fire will come from here (Rev. 20:9) 3. I'm called "a better country (Heb. 11:16) 4. Satan fell from here (Luke 10:18) 5. God's throne is here (Is. 66:1)? Activate It' makes a connection to daily life and application of what you're learning. Ancient Archives' gives a bit of information about the time in which that passage was written a little snapshot of culture, setting, etc. to give more understanding.
But waitthere's more! There is an introduction to every book of the Bible who wrote it, God's role in the book, and the role of God's people. Word Clouds' lists key words found in that book and Did You Know?' tells what God is doing in the lives of His people. There are maps at the back that show places and routes of travel; a dictionary and concordance are also included to aid in your study.
