Category Description for Mcgraw-Hill Top 50 Skills For The Sat

Practice tests are the number one way to prepare for those high-stakes exams. Each of these books have 2 online tests. Inside the book are specific strategies to help you, the student, succeed. Plan ahead and do one a day! Start off by taking a practice test. This tells you how to focus your study time. After completing the 50 skills, take another test and look for improvement. I have to give parents a heads-up on these workbooks – they are very secular. The author makes an effort to be fun and relatable to the students and will often quote movies that are rated PG-13 or R. Several of the quotes include inappropriate language/content. I don't appreciate this feature, but the study tips are quite good if you can overlook this negative element. ~Sara
