The ten units teach buying at the store (cost vs. benefit; prioritizing wants; opportunity costs), earning money at a job, making and following a budget, using banks (savings and checking accounts; loans), raising money to help others, planning a party (buying goods and services), starting a business, paying bills, using credit cards, and paying for health services. Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, currency, fractions and graphs.
