Introduction to Microsoft Word® (2010) documents: fonts, clipboard and formatting as well as how to insert shapes, SmartArt, text boxes, tables, hyperlinks and templates. Microsoft Publisher ®(2010) projects and MS PowerPoint® (2010) are also covered.
Instill software skills needed in the workplace or college with this one-semester elective that teaches students how to use Microsoft® Office® 2010 Word®, PowerPoint®, and Publisher®. This elective for grades 9-12 uses interactive lessons and multimedia to cover designing, developing, editing, and sharing business documents.
Knowing how to efficiently use popular office software will give students an advantage in the workforce and in college. Each of these one semester courses will provide your students the level of knowledge necessary for success outside your homeschool. The first semester offering, Office Applications Level I covers the popular Microsoft Office® 2010 products Word®, Publisher®, and PowerPoint®. Office Applications Level II covers Microsoft Office® 2010 products Access® and Excel®. Minimum system requirements: Windows 10 Home or Pro (Up to Date); Dual Core 1.1 GHz or higher (2 GHz recommended), 4 GB RAM, 120 GB minimum total space with 5GB available hard drive space, and a 1024 x 768 or higher resolution monitor. Microsoft Office and printer are recommended. Please note that the software is NOT Mac-compatible and is no longer Windows XP or Windows 8 compatible. Windows 10 S Mode is not supported. ~ Deanne
