Product Description:

“180 Days of Art, Logic and Fun” from the Thinking Tree. Every page is either a math puzzle, a multiplication table to complete, or a fun coloring/art page to give the brain a rest. Instructions are simple and no additional materials are necessary to use this gentle math supplement. Every other page is a multiplication table to complete, helping your student memorize their multiplication facts. The logic puzzles are simple, complete-the-picture or sequence types. Some are code-breakers. A calculator may be used to do simple multiplication problems like 1x6, 1x11, 1x50, 2x0, 2x2, 2x11, etc. I think these would make for good math warm-up activities prior to using your math curriculum. About 180 pgs, pb. Uses the dyslexie font. ~Sara

Publisher Description:

Multiplication Games - 180 Days of Math, Art & Logic Fun: Do It Yourself HomeschoolingB1, B2, C1, C2, ideal for ages 8-17, (3rd-12th grade)

The book was created by a mother of children with dyslexia and memory problems - therefore the way this book is organized works very well for children with these challenges. The book may be too repetitive for some students because of the extra multiplication tables. Use the blank multiplication tables until the child can fill it out effortlessly, and then return to the book in the future to sharpen the skill. This is an excellent approach for students who are resistant to, or cannot memorize facts, with flash cards. Includes logic and problem solving, creative thinking, art, and other activities as well.

Uses a Dyslexia-friendly font to help with letter reversal and reading confusion.

We love The Thinking Tree books. This one looks like a great option for practice with my daughter who thinks outside the box as a severely dyslexic and gifted thinker.

My son struggles with multiplication and this looked like it might be a fun addition to our regular curriculum.

Confusing
There is no direction on how to do the pages and is not what I expected. I expected a fun (hidden) way to do multiplication.
