Very sparse
There is not much to this book. Not enough information to actually learn the concepts. They could've done a lot better job at explaining things to middle school students.

I ordered Basic Economics as an introduction to the topic for my middle school son The information does not go in depth as much as I would have liked but as it is meant to be an introduction that didn't bother me too much What does bother me is that the book was first published in 1999 and apparently has not been updated One of the things that appealed to me was the internet extension activities Being as the program is 9 years old now the web sites given are either inactive or not relevant to the topic I spent considerable time attempting to find other web sites but it was difficult since little information was given about what the suggested web site contained As an introduction to economics I did not think this program was comprehensive and much was outdated
