BEST ANSWER: Elementary ages. This was done with my 9 and 11 year old but we still use it periodically now that they are in middle school. It could easily be adapted to younger elementary ages too.

its good for weather bookkeeping
its good for weather bookkeeping for homeschool science curriculum. We liked the anemometer in the kit because the handmade does not work that well.
