Product Description:
Implementing a “roll and write” mechanic, this simplified version of the classic game converts core aspects into a faster, more portable format. Players begin with one of the 200 unique landscape sheets and take turns rolling the five dice: two color dice, two number dice, and a time die. A single color and number are chosen, and the player fills in an eligible space matching that color with the number. Completed regions of hexes are scored, with special bonuses based on the color. These bonuses allow players to manipulate the dice, generate goods for extra points later, take extra actions, and more. Finally, the timer die sets the pace of gameplay. Each turn, the one or two hourglasses are noted, progressing the game through 3 phases of 10-hourglass tracks. When all 30 boxes are filled, the game ends, and the player with the most points wins! For 1-5 players ages ten and up. 15 to 30-minute playtime.
