Best Family Bible Verse Matching Game: King James Edition
Helping children retain the Word"and know the reference as well"is so crucial. This is a simple, easy and fun option to accomplish both goals. Use the 36 tiles to match 18 different Bible verses with their references. Half the tiles have the verse written out and the other half state the Scripture reference. The first player turns over two tiles. Players read (or someone reads for them) the tiles and if they match, the player gets to keep the cards. If it isn't a match, turn the tiles back over and it's the next player's turn. When all cards have been matched, count the tiles and whoever has the most tiles, wins. Scriptures are taken from the Old and New Testaments and most deal with building Godly character. Available in ESV and King James version. Easy-to-read text varies in size from 1/4" to 1/8" tall, allowing different ages to play individually. 1 or more players. ~ Ruth
This Bible verse matching game is a fun way to memorize scripture and books of the Bible. Our game can be fun for: Family time, Bible studies, Church school, VBS, church events, game night with your friends, and anyone who loves to learn the word of God! There are 36 thick, high gloss tiles with 18 verses to match it's 18 addresses. To play: each player must match the Bible verse with it's address. Ages 3 and up can play.
Basically, you're supposed to place the cards face down and flip two at a time to make a match of Bible verse and the "Bible address" (where the verse is found in the Bible). If they don't match, they are to be placed face down again, and the next person takes a turn.
It helps with memorizing Bible verses, as well as remembering where things are placed.
