This book may help them see what designers really do, what branches of design there are, and if they have a level of interest in this field to start making a career path. This book is very interactive, giving examples of a design concept, having multiple-choice questions about the concept, and then having the reader design their own version of the concept. This method is used throughout the book. The quality of the drawing doesn’t matter as much as the motivation and meaning behind the idea. Also included is a link to more design activities and inspiration for young, avid designers. I took several design classes in college, and this book actually mentioned several of the concepts I learned in a more kid-friendly way. Since this book is hardbound, it would make a cool keepsake for those who continue to use their creative abilities into adulthood and during their work routine. ~ Brianna
