Ticket to Ride® - USA 1910 is a new card expansion for the original Ticket to Ride board game. It consists of 181 new large format cards (the same size as Ticket to Ride Europe and Mrklin), that include: 35 new Destination Tickets, a new GlobeTrotter bonus card for completing the most tickets, plus a complete replacement deck of all the cards from the original game deck. Also included is a new rulebook that gives Ticket to Ride players three new ways to play the game including 1910 rules: games using only the new Destination Tickets; the Mega Game, featuring all the tickets; and Big Cities, which uses only tickets to certain large cities.

The USA 1910 cards and rules variants will really change your strategies and tactics when you play Ticket to Ride. They will surprise even long-time veteran railroaders and bring hundreds of hours of new fun to your family and friends. This game has become one of our family favorites. 2 to 5 players draw tickets to connect rail routes between major cities and attempt to complete them in the most direct route possible. Routes are built in sections of 1 to 6 railcars based on playing cards of the designated color for the section. Longer routes and longer sections score more points than shorter ones. Since routes can have sections that overlap, competition for certain segments adds to the excitement. Strategy is not too complicated, so that younger players are not at a disadvantage. Games take from 45 to 75 minutes, depending on the number of players. The basic game is based on North American geography, while TTR Europe has slightly different rules and covers Europe and eastern Asia. TTR USA 1910 is an expansion that allows 3 more variations of the basic TTR game. Ticket to Ride Expansions (3-AD) (ages 8+) Across the exotic lands of Asia, from Africa, to Germany, and all the way to the Northern face of Europe, the rumble of locomotives can be heard around the world. Explore wildly different locations and circumstances around the globe as you expand your train lines in these new Ticket to Ride editions. The gameplay is similar to the original Ticket to Ride, but each map has its own challenges to overcome, including mountains, valleys, ferries, rough terrain, tolls, and other unique regional challenges. Despite the varying climates, treacherous landscapes, and locational nuances, your goal is the same. Create the best route, collect the most valuable tickets, and connect cities to beat your competition! Games listed as Expansions require Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride Europe to play. Other editions are stand-alone and require no other Ticket to Ride games to play. Games last roughly 30-60 minutes.Happy travels!

When we play with 5 people you end up running out of routes. The ones that don't get picked the first round get recycled back in and sometimes you end up picking them again half way through the game. Also, it will be nice to have new routes to choose from. We love this game!

What are the size of cards? Are they they large or small ones?

BEST ANSWER: In the expansion pack, the cards are the larger ones. Much easier to play with. We never use the small ones anymore.
are these cards compatable with the UK/ Pennsylvania version?

BEST ANSWER: If you have all the cards from UK/Pennsylvania, then you could actually just use the train cards provided for UK, because they contain 12x of each train color plus 20x iridescent/wild (6 more than the typical 14x iridescent/wild). You will need trains from a base/standalone version for the UK/Pennsylvania expansion, though. The other reviewers are correct that the destination cards, stock, and technology cards are specific to UK/Pennsylvania. Hope this helps. Love this1910 expansion for original Ticket to Ride, though, as it gives you full size train cards and additional destinations for the US plus some other rule variations/scenarios if you so choose.

BEST ANSWER: Our supplier told us we would be getting them in November. Obviously, that did not happen and they have not been able to give us an expected arrival date. So, the bottom line is that we really do not know.

BEST ANSWER: Truthfully, we are not sure. We have had some conflicting information from the supplier. They first told us they would be here the first of October. Now (10/23/20) it seems they might not be planning to reprint for some time. We are still hoping we will get some later this year.

Perfect addition to the original board game!
This expansion pack offers several new variations for the original Ticket to Ride game. We enjoy being able to play with new routes. And the bigger cards are much easier to shuffle (and hold). If you enjoy the original, I'd definitely recommend adding the expansion :)

Great Game
The expansion took a game that was already a family favorite and re-energized it with more destinations. On top of that the bigger cards that come with the expansion made the game incredibly more playable.
