The Christian Liberty Phonics Readers are a set of four books designed to complement a kindergarten phonics program (such as Adventures in Phonics: Level A). The series starts with one-page stories that focus on short vowel sounds, and builds to include two and three-page stories that stress long vowel sounds and, ultimately, blends. Numerous illustrations and photographs are included to heighten interest. Each story teaches Christian values and consists of short sentences intended to retain attention and promote success. Stories are also preceded by practice words that highlight the appropriate phonics rules being presented.

Teach reading skills using this God-honoring program filled with enriching and interesting reading material. Throughout this series, students read children- and history-oriented stories. Grade K emphasizes phonics instruction (2 books of single-syllable, short vowel, words; 2 books use multi-syllable words, long-vowel sounds). Grade 1 reinforces and applies these phonics skills. Grade 2 assumes students have a good grasp of phonics, so the series then shifts to progressively more challenging vocabulary and reading and emphasizes reading comprehension. Grade 3 stories span a broad history, including ancient and Bible. Grades 4-5 emphasize American history readings. Grade 6 highlights abridged and revised selections from classic authors. Some levels require Teachers' Manuals, student activities, and tests.

I tried other beginner readers, but they were not always cautious of letter assimilation and the usage of long verse short vowels. No one in my family ever had a hard time learning to read from these little readers and I was searching everywhere to find these little books.

I have used these books with three of my children and they just loved learning to read using these books They are easy to use and your child will just love the stories These books are top notch

Along with the Pathway Readers these were perfect for my son Both of my children used this little series as well as many other readers from CLP The stories are realistic and sweet We love just about everything from this publilsher!
