Don't be deceived! At first glance, these unassuming puzzles look as if they can be solved in a flash. Wrong assumption! Math Puzzle 15 is a set of nine wooden tiles each with a number 1 through 9. Use the tiles to set up a 3x3 grid, like tic-tac-toe. Every row, column, and diagonal should add up to 15. Math Puzzle 34 is a set of 16 wooden tiles with numbers 1 through 16. Playing the game is similar to the Math Puzzle 15 but the grid is 4x4 and you want the numbers to total 34 in every direction. Each puzzle comes in a 3 ½" x 4 ½" sturdy, clear, plastic box which snaps shut for safe-keeping. They're slim enough to place in a purse, backpack, or diaper bag for take-along fun. I tried my hand at both of these puzzles and finally gave up on Math Puzzle 34. If you like number games, this is an inexpensive one to add to your list. A solution is included, but don't peek. ~ Donna
