On the back, you see a picture frame with the upper and lowercase letter inside to trace (dotted-lines.) Each card has a lot to color: the creature, the frame, the letters and even the background if they choose! Also, the creatures are more fun than some alphabets - alpaca, bunny, crab, dragon, hedgehog, narwhal, sloth, etc. A cool little wipe-off handwriting practice sheet (10" x7") can be used and reused with the beeswax crayons or any dry-erase marker.
