Description

Create a beautiful chemical coral reef while learning basic chemistry and ocean ecology. Kit includes chemicals and most supplies to make a coral tank. Included are Sodium Silicate, Magnesium Sulfate, Plaster of Paris, food color dyes, square tank (2 1/4'" x 2 1/4") with lid, large, curved tank (approx. 6.5" x 1.5") with lid, seascape sticker, 4 small beakers, stirring sticks, large beaker, tweezers, large and small spoon, and gloves. The kit also includes safety goggles, pipette, syringe, and a flexible tube. You will need to provide paper or plastic cups for mixing plaster, plastic film, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and a disposable plastic container to hold 400 ml of liquid.
