Description

Take turns creating words with letter tiles to create a word worm. To start the game, all players draw a tile and compare to see who has the closest letter to “A". Each player draws a number of letter tiles from the center pile and sorts them behind their playing shields. The shields help prevent other players from peeking at your tiles. The player who had the closest letter puts the first word on the table. Players take turns clockwise around the table, adding one word at a time to the word in the center. The words must connect end-to-end, rather than intersecting in the middle. At each turn, players must draw and discard one tile before placing a word; otherwise, they will end up with a “rotten apple." The player who uses all of their tiles first calls out, “How do you like them apples?!" in order to win the game. By the end of the games, the words should form a worm-like shape. This game helps develop word building skills, strategy, and concentration. 2 – 4 players. ~ Brianna
