We love Rainbow Resourse for a variety of homeschool materials and for Christmas shopping. Great Christmas catalog.

High quality.
I paired this with the Botany science book for my second grader. She loves the coloring pages while I am reading the text. There are many projects/activities and a place to save each piece of work, which is wonderful! I don't have papers, projects, and leaves flying all over the house. I love that it's spiral. I love the scripture copy work pages provided for each lesson. I highly recommend this notebook with the text. I can't imagine the class without it.

This book is supposed to include space for all the questions and projects in the textbook.

This is just the kind of science book I needed to teach about plant while I teach about gardening to my students.

The details and activities are already laid out for my son....better than if we used a plain notebook.

Great curriculum! I've used this with all my children!

I chose this items because I have 2 students under 3rd grade who will be studying Botany and this notebook is at their level of learning and abilities. They can work in a notebook along side their older siblings but not be frustrated or overwhelmed with what is asked of them. Also the notebook has several fun activities that will enhance their learning.

we are studying Botany

My child struggles with writing and printing but loves science so this seemed like a good choice

Looks like a good addition for use with the text in teaching grade 3.

You had the best price!

I find this "lighter" journal to be plenty of work to keep 1-2 kids busy. They do enough writing in other courses, so I like to keep Science a little more free form.
Cecily W on Sep 5, 2017
My 4th grader is spending the year learning about survival, which includes everything from how to grow plants to which plants are ok to eat and which we need to stay away from. We will use this in conjunction with "Science in a Nutshell" kits about growing plants. I also purchased the "Exploring Creation through Botany" text book. It's going to be a fun year!

They are not necessary, BUT. . .These notebooks are fun reinforcement for the kids, and I think we get through MUCH more of the textbook when I buy them.

It was one of the suggested items to go along with Exploring Creation with Botany which I'd already planned to purchase.

for my son's age (7) it will still be somewhat over his head, ( we did the astronomy last year and it was) but working some of the worksheet do help him retain some of the information on what we just read in the book.

Last year I didn't use the Jr version of the notebooking journal (for Astrology) and I felt that a lot of the activities were a little too difficult for my 1st grader. This year my Kinder and 2nd grader will be able to BOTH work through the activites in the JR version together.
Amy O on Jul 12, 2016
Being a scientist, I appreciate the idea of teaching my child how to document her findings. I also appreciate the creative ways they allow for reinforcement of knowledge gained from the reading.
