Okay I admit we've only had this game 24 hours and there are several other reviews that I've been meaning to write but I've just got to share how excited I am about it! It's an awesome way to teach kids about balance Balancing objects on a plank did not come naturally to my 5 and 6-year-olds but they are catching on! They really have to think about how to arrange the objects then they have to think about which object to take off the plank Taking off the end of the plank makes a much bigger difference in the balance than it does if you take off right above the fulcrum! Also they are practicing addition and a bit of subtraction At the end of each game they are adding 1 2 and 3 point objects together sometimes reaching values of about 20! Whoever made the balance fall has to subtract 5 points from his total! The kids played all evening and then went to bed and guess who asked me to play? My husband! We challenged ourselves by making the fulcrum off to the side and trying to make it impossible for the other to get high point values Each game is unique and fun! Playing times are quite short I'd say a game lasts 5 or 6 minutes at the longest It's fast-paced and fun for everyone! I think it would make a great gift for girls or boys of all ages!
