How are the cubes magnetized? I saw this product on another site and customers reported that the cubes actually have a magnetic strip on one side, which sounds different from this product. I want to be able to stack them up as is described in the description here. There is no magnetic strip shown in the picture here or one the product description on the other site, so I wanted to check. Thank you!

BEST ANSWER: The cubes have a square piece of magnet on the "bottom" of each cube. The normal use of the cubes would be to create mosaics using either the top or the bottom of the tin as a base or tray. There are patterns for mosaics included and the ten colors (ten of each) are lovely. It is a good travel activity because the magnetic strips hold the cubes onto the tray. Yes, you can stack the cubes but I can't see that the magnetic strips provide any aid in keeping the stacked creation together and could conceivably cause some frustration because of the magnetic sides trying to stick together.
