Description

This set of 4 templates made of flexible plastic are designed to teach young learners to work left to right. It also helps to build proper handwriting strokes with directional arrows. Use your finger, a pencil, or a crayon – the surface can be easily cleaned. Each template measures 8.5" x 2.75" and are about as thick as a sheet of craft foam. I can see these being particularly helpful with pre-K ages, beginning writers struggling with pencil control, or for those who are developing general fine motor skills. I was wondering if they would be as helpful for either a left-handed or right-handed child, and I think they would be. All writers, after all, are still learning to write left to right, and the tactile practice has an element of novelty. The washability makes them a good option as a center-time activity in a school or daycare. ~Sara
