Publisher's Description of Fun Origami for Children: Flight!

Fun Origami for Children: Flight! starts with classic paper plane and glider projects to get children started, then moves on to fantastic super-jets, rockets, and a space shuttle. All the projects are fun to make as well as play with, and there is a section showing how to throw paper planes most effectively. There are amazing facts throughout, so children can learn while they craft. Each project has simple step-by-step instructions and clear photographs, as well as helpful arrows showing where to fold. There are skill ratings, so children can start with an easy project and then move on to something a bit more challenging until, eventually, they are easily impressing friends with their paper-folding skills. Specially designed pieces of origami paper are included with the book, so children can start crafting straight away.

Category Description for Fun Origami For Children

Great for children who have an interest in origami, these neat books each include 12 projects with 18 sheets of printed origami paper made specifically for each project. There are three levels of difficulty, leaving room for improvement. Instructions are demonstrated by real photographs of hands folding the papers. These are great projects for beginners and intermediates; although, it may be helpful to have a bit of origami experience as some of the steps may be a bit unclear to very new beginners. Once the included paper is gone, traditional origami paper can still be used to complete projects. I know this says "for children" in the title, but I think adults may enjoy it just as much! ~ Brianna
