Publisher's Description of Around the House Sound Puzzle
Lift one of the eight peg puzzle pieces to see and hear what's happening in each room of this busy house! This unique sound puzzle lets kids two and older discover an alarm clock waking up a child in the bedroom, the car engine roaring to life in the garage, breakfast sizzling on the stove in the kitchen, and much more. Replace the piece to immediately stop the sound and move to the next room! Kids two and older will love exploring the house and discovering new, full-color pictures under each piece, and learning what is making the realistic sounds. The interactive, sturdy wooden puzzle helps develop fine motor skills and auditory processing skills, and encourages problem solving and narrative thinking.
Category Description for Sound Puzzles

These unique puzzles are great fun, even for very young kids that can't do simple peg puzzles all on their own yet. When the wooden, pegged piece is lifted from its space, the sound of the object, music note, or name of the letter or number removed is emitted from a small speaker within the puzzle. The Emergency Vehicles Puzzle contains even more bells and whistles, with sounds and flashing lights. As soon as young children pick up on this, I suspect they will soon identify "favorite" pieces! Puzzles are handcrafted and are of wood construction with beautifully painted images. The sound box runs on 2 AA batteries (not included). So, if it gets to be too much, just remove the batteries, and the youngsters will have to play with it just like any other "normal" peg puzzle.
