Description

Young pirates and their parents will enjoy sailing the seas visiting a winding trail of mystery islands in this family friendly pirate ship racing adventure. There are two different game modes, which are similar, but the second game presents an added challenge once little pirates have mastered level one.

Game Level One:  Buccaneer Bounce – Starting with Pirate’s Cove, create a winding route using the island tiles and end with Treasure Island where the treasure chest is placed.  Players put their ships on Pirate’s Cove and take turns rolling the die to determine how many island tiles they may move ahead.  Each time they land on a tile, it is flipped over to reveal either a further action or a “nothing happens” which means they stop at that island and end their turn.  Some tiles instruct players to move forward or back or reroll.  The first player to reach Treasure Island gains the treasure chest and wins the game.

Game Level Two:  Treasure Chase – Beware Mateys! Now that you have mastered level one, rival sea dogs are about to plunder yer loot!  A new twist is thrown into this game when the Hidden Treasure Island location is placed along the sea route.  The first player to turn over this tile, gains the treasure chest.  If they can reach the end of the route and land on Treasure Island in possession of the chest, they win the game.  However, if any player lands on the same tile or passes up the player with the Treasure, they can steal it and try to hang onto it until they reach Treasure Island to win!

This is a simple beginning route building, player movement game with the luck of the die!  With 40 tiles, 6 wooden ships, a Treasure Chest and Die included, its colorful, well written manual will have the whole family up and quickly sailing the seas!  For 2-6 players with 15–20-minute playtime.
