Fun & Colorful Way to Bring Science into Classroom
My older kids (5th & 3rd grades) love The Elements book, so they were delighted to hang the calendar version on the wall in the school room. The calendar helps bring the elements, their names, their properties, and their real-life applications into our daily consciousness. Words like "bismuth" and "samarium" and "atomic emission spectrum" are familiar to the kids because they see them - in photos - every day.

My fifth and third grader love The Elements book. We read two to four elements a week - and they frequently beg for more. This calendar looks perfect for our school room!
