I like having the response book (all organized) rather than using a regular notebook for my daughter's lists

i have a fourth grader which book should i start with?

BEST ANSWER: Because the spelling adds on (increasing in difficulty) you should start with level one. We started with level 1 with our third grader and it worked great. A homeschooling friend starting in 4th grade and did 2 lists per day (they don't take long at all) so she could get through level 1 and 2 in the fourth grade year. Hope that helps! It is a great program because you correct as you go.. gets rid of that "test" feeling. I think there may be a placement test option on their main website as well.
