My teenagers think money grows on trees. Surprise! Life is full of hard choices, especially financial choices. Time for them to learn this.

My rising junior is ready to study personal finance and has an interest in pursuing a career in finance. With parents with finance and acconting backgrounds, we wanted something that was fun, but accurate. She loves Life of Fred for her math work, so thought this was an affordable option that could not only serve her well, but also her siblings as they get to this point.

We like the Fred math books, and adding this to an economics text makes a full year econ/personal finance course for my high school student.

Every child needs to know this real life stuff!

LoF is awesome for those students who detest math. My 12th grader has some LD issues and LoF is a perfect fit for her!! It is mostly family friendly and she likes the story line and is able to learn from Fred.

Because I'm always broke this time of year and have to borrow money and thought Dr. Schmidt might have some useful advice for keeping me and my family out of debt.
