My girls struggle with traditional spelling books and I feel the study of prefixes, roots and suffixes will be just what they need.
Gwen P on Jul 20, 2016
This looks exactly like what I envisioned originally when I was looking to introduce my children to the roots of our words so that they can have a better understanding of why certain words are used and where they come from. My last curriculum did not live up to this so I am hoping my kids and I learn better from this company.

What is the difference between Word Roots A1 and Word Roots Beginner. I notice that there are different authors, but how are the two products different?
A shopper on May 31, 2017
Word Roots Level 1
Word Roots Level 1
Word Roots A1
Word Roots A1
BEST ANSWER: Word Roots Beginner is a very simple, basic introduction. When we switched to A1 it was quite a change and the challenge level was stepped up. My daughter did Beginner in 5th grade and thought it was fun. A1 through 6&7th because it was significantly harder and therefore needed more "persuasion" to finish. Still it was learning a lot of really interesting, unusual words mixed in with the more familiar.
