The program and teaching are well done, but the voice is very irritating to listen to. I would not purchase again for the price.

I found out about Saxon Teacher a couple of years ago I didn't know of anyone personally who was using it at that time so I just had to take a chance and see if it was worth it WOW!!!! It's totally worth every penny and now I'm spreading the news to all of my homeschooling friends! My kids use it with ease with very little to no help from me (but I still check their work)

Last year my daughter often needed help from me for her 7/6 mathThis year we adopted a 9-year old boy with disabilities who requires a great deal of my time for his schooling I bought Saxon Teacher 8/7 for my daughter and it was money well-spent She gets through all her lessons independently and rarely misses a problem When she does need help we look at the problem explanation together on the cd I was very glad that I bought Saxon Teacher as opposed to the DIVE cds which do not work the problems in the text The extra $20 was worth it

I used this in the past when I home schooled my own children. I had tried another product prior to this one but this one was superior. Now, I am an instructional assistant in a Montessori Classroom and feel a few of my students could benefit from these video lessons.

Will this work with OS 10.11?

BEST ANSWER: I run this on Windows 10 and even our old computer which is Vista.
Whose voice is on these cd's? Is it a woman's voice with a southern draw? or Is it a man's voice? last year my grandson did not like the woman's voice. I just don't want to get the same person for th 8/7 saxon math .

BEST ANSWER: It is the southern woman on these
Will this work with second edition?
A shopper on Jan 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Between the 2nd and 3rd edition of Math 87, there are some changes that will make it difficult to use the Saxon Teacher with the older edition. The lessons have been combined, re-ordered, and/or renamed. It might be possible to "match-up" lessons for the teaching sequence but there will be some differences. The problems within the lessons have been re-worked significantly. Even though the general idea in the problems corresponds between the editions, the specifics have been changed. This will make the solutions part of the Saxon Teacher CD-ROM somewhat ineffective to use with the older edition.
