No test solutions (answer key only)
Although I have used Saxon for years (and loved it), their upper level math courses (new edition) no longer have a TEST solutions manual; answer key, yes, but a test solutions manual would be helpful.

Saxon Algebra 2 kit
I did my homework. I shopped around for the best price. Rainbow Resource Center not only had the lowest price, but FREE shipping too!

I would recommend buying the Saxon sets from RRC.

Saxon's approach to math works with the kiddos brains. The lessons are brief but the practice problems spiral the material to make it go into long term memory!!

Completed Saxon Algebra I and very satisfied with methods and materials covered. Decided to continue with the same publisher for next course

We have used Saxon Math since Kindergarten. I think it is one of the best. I have used for all three of my girls. 2 adhd and 1 with advanced math skills (my future engineer). I scale down a little for the adhd girls and I know they are still getting a solid math program. Husband is an engineer and likes the program. Had mathematically gifted nieces and nephew in school who did better in the years that Saxon math was used.

Can I purchase just the text? I already have a complete kit.
A shopper on Jul 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I'm sorry, but no. We do not carry the 4th edtion Saxon Algebra 2 text separately from the kit. The publisher has only given us the sets and the tests/key.
Can you use the 4th edition Algebra II after using the 3rd edition Algebra I ?
A shopper on Apr 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would strongly recommend against doing that. My oldest child used 4th edition Algebra I and II, and my second is now using 3rd edition Algebra I. The books cover the material quite differently, and I do not think that they can be used together. The 4th edition seems to me to be needlessly complicated (a bit like Common Core math), and the answer book contains so many errors that I am always having to double check to see if the error was my child's or the answer book's. I have contacted the publisher twice about all of the errors by phone and by email, and no one has ever responded. So I would stick with the tried and true version instead of the more recent edition.
