Excellent and Engaging Resource
I bought this for my 16yo daughter (who doesn't exactly love math) and the results have been amazing. She now does math first every morning and sometimes reads ahead on the weekends. She started trig using another curriculum before we switched to Life of Fred and she says the writer of LoF is much more engaging and easier to understand. Five stars!!

My 15 yr old son is preparing for the ACT and wanted to tackle Trig. I have been intrigued by the samples of Life of Fred. It looks like a fun way to learn math. My son has been flying through Teaching Textbooks Math in the past. I like the way all the reading is incorporated with the trig because he has been a reluctant reader in the past.

We have used several of the Life of Fred books, and my 11th grade daughter has benefited from the author's straight-forward approach to teaching a subject which will never be her favorite.

Our family absolutely loves Life of Fred. It has been especially fun for our son who enjoys literature and story more than math. The series is fun and yet still very serious about teaching the concepts well. The only thing that has been frustrating at times is that the answers are frequently on the same page as the problems and so to be honest our children have to very actively cover them up while working. That's a bit hard. Great series though - we have used 6-7 different books.

My son LOVES Life of Fred. He has gone from not wanting to do any math to being excited about continuing through the rest of the series.

My 17 year old son loves Life of Fred. He's done every book since Fractions and is just finishing Advanced Algebra and has already done Geometry. This series and type of learning work great for him.
