Description
Featuring the voice of Bindi Irwin, this updated and colorful globe is full of fascinating fun facts! Use the SmartPen to touch points on the globe and hear information when on Explore mode. Switch to Find It mode and to play a quiz game. You can even check distance between points in miles or kilometers with the Measure It mode. The pen itself requires a battery and is rechargeable. Sound comes through the pen speaker when you touch the tip to the globe. The globe-base has a control panel where users can choose continents/oceans, nature, countries, cities/capitals and USA cities/states. You can choose a category on the control panel to change what the pen will say each time. This globe plainly offers a ton of great special features! It is also very colorful and even includes Sudan/South Sudan, which is often regarded as the marker of an updated map or globe. Regional animals are all over, and the surface is very smooth and shiny. Often the axis is not that sturdy on a large globe, but this one is actually extra sturdy! What a wonderful addition to your learning materials, or even to your toys – kids won't be able to leave it alone! A great item for grandparents to have around when the little ones pay a visit! ~Sara
