Description

Bird feeders are a wonderful way to bring avian life to your windowsill. However, hummingbirds seem to be some of the pickier birds when it comes to feeding time. If you want these little busy-bodies to stick around, this hummingbird feeder is a good way to do so. Inside are all the pieces to put together a colorful feeder and a chart showing which hummingbirds are likely to dine in your area. When Spring rolls around, stick the feeder on a window with the attached suction cups, make sure it's perfectly level, and fill any small, plastic bottle (the traditional "standard size water bottle works best) with the included nectar recipe of sugar and water. Place the bottle upside down in the feeder, and let the nectar flow up to the three flower-shaped feeding spots. Sit back, relax, and watch the hummingbirds (and butterflies) feast! Simply swap out the sugar-water and rinse out the base every few days to keep the birds coming back for more.
