Description

Visualize abstract math concepts with the Double-Sided Abacus! Use this hands-on learning tool to teach a variety of concepts ranging from counting to subtraction. Each side of the Double-Sided Abacus has a different color scheme. On the front side, each row of beads has its own color. This coloring is ideal for one-to-one correspondence, place value, and operations with regrouping. On the back side, each row of beads has two colors (five white beads and five red beads). This coloring will help children easily see groups of five, allowing them to recognize numbers quickly without counting. Children will transition from moving groups of beads. Use the Double-Sided Abacus to help children see math in different ways and deepen their conceptual understanding. Guide included in the box. ~Amber
