Cat in the Hat I Can Do That Games
Dumping out the contents of this game, you'd almost guess you stepped right into the pages of Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat. Out falls a foam cake, the goofy-looking rake, Mom's polka-dotted dress - even the watchful fish in his fishbowl. After you 'ooh' and 'aahh' over the Seuss-ian objects brought to life, it's time for you and your family to enjoy your own Cat in the Hat-inspired craziness. First, assemble the "Trick-a-ma-stick" (which resembles a small foam hurdle), then shuffle all the cards (numbered 1-3 on their reverse sides) into a pile and you're ready to start. Oh each player's turn, they'll flip over a 1, 2, and a 3 card, and place them in order. The cards will form a complete sentence dictating a crazy challenge to complete, such as "Walk backwards around the Trick-a-ma-stick... with the rake... under your left arm!" Players read the sentence, then say "I can do that!" and try to complete the challenge. If they can, they win the cards. If they draw a fishbowl "STOP!" card, they lose their turn. At the end of the game, the player with the most blue stars shown on their cards is the winner.
The card game is a scaled-back version of the full game, with more open-ended physical challenges and a smaller foam fishbowl. Get ready to complete challenges like "Crab walk... around a chair... with the fish under your chin!" to claim your cards!
