Your younger elementary students can easily learn right along the rest of the family with this wonderful resource from Home School in the Woods. Each lap book in this series offers over a dozen projects to creatively reinforce lessons. The activities include coloring and drawing and offer practice in basic cutting skills and penmanship. These printable masters, available on handy CD-ROMs, are detailed and contain printing and assembly instructions for each project. Final project photos are provided as a guide. The second component is a topic-related text. You can either print that 24-page booklet to be stored with the completed lap book or fit the pages individually in a binder.
