Problem Solving 4 Today

Description

Provide students extra practice using problem solving skills with these quick, easy to use supplements designed to compliment any math curricula. Contains 40 weeks of activities, with each week introducing and practicing a new problem-solving strategy. The next four days, this strategy is practiced through one related story problem. On day 5, an assessment is given to ensure mastery of the strategy. On the Assessment Day, students will read a story problem, solve the problem showing their work, explain their work and restate their answer. Most students will only need 5-10 minutes to complete the activities and weekly assessment. Teachers and parents will appreciate the quick, effective practice exercises. Answer Keys are included in the back of the book. Pages are perforated and activity pages are reproducible. 96 pgs, pb. ~Deanne
