100 Words Every... Should Know

Description

Compiled by the editors of the American Heritage Dictionaries, this four-part series helps teens expand their understanding of key vocabulary terms, while studying the etymology and correct usage of important words. Each volume contains a nice balance of key words and terms from A to Z, along with an additional collection of words that are related to a specific field of study such as science or religion. In addition, each book also identifies how each word is classified grammatically and should be pronounced. This series features easy-to-read print; however, it has no illustrations. 84 pgs unless noted, pb. ~ Mike
