Map It Games
You think you know where places are - but can you say for sure whether San Francisco is east or west of Seattle? Or if Kenya is north of Ecuador? This original card game will keep you guessing, or prove your brilliance! Once game play is mastered, it really is a very simple game. Players, in turn, assemble a north/south east/west cross-shaped playing board by inserting their locations into the correct position. There is often more than one right location, but there can also be dozens of wrong ones! Players earn points by voting on incorrect locations and by disputing placements made by opponents who may be somewhat confused. Our only hang-up is with the instructions. They are a little ambiguous, and you may need to play a round or two while reading through the instructions to fully comprehend play. At the same time, once you have the gist of basic game play you could incorporate any number of house rules to personalize the game! Very colorful games for 2-6 players; playing time is about 20 minutes.
