This highly visual math will help your child envision math concepts. enVisionMath 2.0, updated in 2017, is a series by Scott Foresman-Addison Wesley, originally written for the classroom, and now available for homeschool. This program may appeal especially to parents who want to keep pace with what is going on at grade level in the classroom. Each grade level is sold as a Homeschool Bundle which includes a two-volume, consumable Student Edition, Teacher's Resource Masters, an assessment resource book and digital resources on PearsonRealize.com for the teacher and student. We do have limited inventory remaining of 2011 consumable workbooks if you are looking for the older edition. Student materials for the 2017 version are not available separately.
The student workbooks at all levels of the program are split into two volumes and are consumable, paperback format. The pages are colorfully illustrated and each lesson starts with a problem to solve that relates to the math lesson. There are also homework assignment pages which you can use as extra practice. Many of the pages are correlated to the online content, which offers the same problems in a digital space to solve.
The online content on PearsonRealize.com contains lesson planning tools, teaching helps and content, access to videos and animations, assessment material, printable pages, an online version of the student text, math tools, math games and much more. Small icons at the bottom of the pages in the student text reference related content online. Like many versions of math programs used in a classroom, you will find an abundance of materials for each lesson and you will likely pick and choose which ones may be necessary for each lesson. If you have not used a course with PearsonRealize.com, you may want to take some time to familiarize yourself with the interface, the teacher materials and all of the content available for you and your student.
