Calvert Language Arts

Calvert Language Arts takes a secular, umbrella approach that wraps reading/phonics, spelling, and handwriting, plus introductory grammar and composition into a single set of Worktexts. Teacher Editions provide teacher helps, grading info, record-keeping sheets, alternate unit tests, daily lesson plans (only in K-1, w/reduced student pages), materials lists, optional learning activities, reproducible worksheets and alternate tests, and answer keys. Worktexts provide both textual material and the written response space students need. Complete Sets include both Worktexts and Teacher Editions. Some sets include extra readers.
