Grade 2 Heritage Studies 3rd ed. was updated in 2014 and continues the study that was begun in Grade 1. Students will learn even more about God’s plan for salvation and continue their study of United States history from Native Americans to the founding of our independent nation; content is divided into 90 lessons. Students will also cover topics in an age-appropriate manner, such as civics, geography, and more. Scripture verses, maps, artwork, photos, and quick-check questions will create an interesting learning environment. Optional enhancements to the curriculum are Sarah Witcher’s Story (#80564), Songbird (#117382), On Yonder Mountain, Rand McNally Classroom Atlas, and Rand McNally Historical Atlas of the World. The Teacher Edition includes the Toolkit CD, which contains Activity Manual Answer Key, teaching visuals (timelines, pictures, graphs), maps, instructional aids, and activities.
